The event "My Language is my wealth" at the Kyrgyz Economic Scientific Research University named after M. Ryskulbekov.
On February 19, 2025, the Kyrgyz Economic Scientific Research University named after M. Ryskulbekov hosted a solemn event "My Language is my Wealth", dedicated to Mother Tongue Day, organized by the Department of State, Official and Foreign Languages. The event was aimed at raising awareness among students and teachers about the importance of preserving and developing their native language, as well as its role in forming of cultural identity.
The purpose of the event was to promote the mother tongue, support of multilingualism and instilling respect to the linguistic traditions of different people.
During the event, the rector of the Kyrgyz Economic Scientific Research University named after M. Ryskulbekov Kadyraliev A.T., the head of the State Language Development Sector of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Mamytov A.Zh., representatives of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Vice-rector for educational affairs Tursunalieva D.M., Vice-rector for development and state language Supaeva G.T. The event "My Language is my wealth" became a real celebration of the native language and culture, filled with vivid and memorable moments that left warm impressions on all participants.
The program began with a powerful and touching performance of an excerpt from the most famous epic of the Kyrgyz people — "Manas". The university student performed lines full of historical grandeur and spiritual power, immersing the audience in the atmosphere of ancient Kyrgyz culture and emphasizing the importance of preserving and passing on this knowledge to future generations.
The dance performances presented by the students have become a true embodiment of harmony between tradition and modernity. Exciting Kyrgyz dances with colorful costumes and dynamic movements on the stage filled the atmosphere with joy and vivacity. The audience watched with delight the modern dances, which at the same time did not forget their roots and combined elements of traditional culture.
One of the highlights of the evening was the mini-performance "Mother's Cry" in English. This work, based on the works of Ch. Aitmatov, amazed the audience with its emotionality and depth. The students performed the scenes with honesty and sincerity, immersing the audience in the world of love and pain, which symbolizes the relationship between mother and child.
A first-year student recited a poem about her mother in the Kyrgyz language with particular sincerity and feeling. This touching performance touched the hearts of the audience, reminding them of the importance of a mother in the life of every person and the undoubted love that she gives to her children.
Such a rich and vibrant format of the program not only allowed the participants and viewers to enjoy art and music, but also became an important step in strengthening respect for the native language and cultural traditions, while reflecting multilingualism and the diversity of world languages.
