"The Kyrgyz language and the Aitmatov universe"
On 18 October 2023, at 10:00, the Kyrgyz Economic Research University named after M. Ryskulbekov hosted a round table on the topic "Til - uluttun Zhana mamlekettin Bashaty" dedicated to the day of the state language, an event was also held within the framework of the three–month term of the state language called "The Kyrgyz language and the Aitmatov universe", announced by the National Commission on State Language and Language policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic during which opinions on the issues raised at the council were summarized and a resolution was adopted:
- The division of students by language proficiency in teaching the Kyrgyz language and literature in higher educational institutions;
- Creation and support of conditions for teaching the Kyrgyz language using innovative methods (provision of technical means);
- Education in the Kyrgyz language in higher education institutions of graduates of secondary schools with the Kyrgyz language of instruction;
- Preparation of students in higher educational institutions according to the level of knowledge of the state language in the specialty.
- Teaching special subjects in Kyrgyz university groups in the state language;
- In order to improve the quality of teaching the state language, the number of students in the group should not exceed 15 people;
- Separate education of students coming from foreign countries to study in the state language classes in accordance with their level;
- Provision of libraries of the educational institution with artistic and literary sources in the Kyrgyz language, teaching aids in professional areas, educational and methodological materials;
- Free printing of textbooks and teaching aids in the Kyrgyz language intended for specialized areas;
10.Publications of materials in the state language, by higher educational institutions, publication of monthly or quarterly scientific journals (University Bulletin, scientific collections, etc.) in the state language.
- Depending on the areas of activity of each department, universities produce: educational and methodological complexes, work programs, curricula, syllabuses, edрucational and methodological materials, textbooks, statements, student test books, journals, etc., in the Kyrgyz language.
Publication in the state language of teaching aids, collections of lectures, textbooks, textbooks in the areas of each department in universities;
- The inclusion of Ch. Aitmatov's works in the curriculum, an outstanding writer of our time, who glorified the artistic language of the Kyrgyz language throughout the world.
- In order to contribute to the teaching of the meanings of the artistic word to students, the Ch. Aitmatov Prize is being organized;
- In order to popularize Ch.Aitmatov's work among students, conducting of the "Ch.Aitmatov's readings".
